While large corporations frequently have an insurance consultant on staff, this service is most often financially out of the question for smaller companies. It has been the vision of CCS to meet this need with the necessary training and experience, but working simultaneously with several businesses that, in effect, share the cost of this much needed service.
Please note that due to the regulated nature of this type of assistance, all risk management and insurance consulting work is done under a part-time employment contact, rather than as an independent consultant. This allows us the freedom to assist you more fully!
For most companies, the assistance provided in the first three months will more than justify the annual salary! During this time, Commercial Consulting Services will provide a detailed analysis of your business and its insurance needs, as well as a careful evaluation of your company's current insurance program. After this analysis is completed, you will be advised, as necessary, to make "urgent" alterations in coverage that will fill gaps or change limits.
It will be of interest that, to date, CCS has discovered at least one serious unknown coverage gap in the property and casualty policies of every business we have served! In each case these gaps would have resulted in the financial failure of the company if a claim had been filed in the specific uncovered area! Many times the additional coverage needed required the payment of little or no additional premium!

The effort of Commercial Consulting Services to save you money, however, does not stop with making sure there is adequate coverage for a potential loss. If you have a good claims record, the tough negotiating of CCS on your behalf will actually lower your premiums! It has always been our goal to save at least as much in premium dollars as the annual salary, however, during a "soft market", a 20% reduction in last year's premiums is the average experience of our client companies. A few have saved up to 50%, while several others over 30%! Even in "hard market" times, when pricing increases are the norm, premium savings will be significant.
